Tulsi Gabbard’s New Website

DC808 and Capital Watch are still the best places to go for coverage of the state and federal elections this year. But we’re going to keep one eye on Honolulu City Council member Tulsi Gabbard, who will be ramping up congressional campaign activities in coming months.

She’s got a new website today. DC808 has the scoop:

Check out Tulsi Gabbard’s new congressional campaign website, which looks similar to its previous incarnation but has a more dynamic feel.

Some things to note: Still no sign of the equal rights video that Gabbard pulled from her previous site (her campaign said that it would be posting videos about issues including equal rights with the new site).

There’s also a void in the “issues” section of the site.

This may be a product of the site redesign. You can still find issues-oriented essays by Gabbard if you dig through the site. A message on the homepage explains that the campaign is in the process of “making some adjustments and adding new content.”

Read a Civil Beat article about how Gabbard characterizes her shift from conservative to liberal beliefs — and be sure to scroll down to check out the comments section, where many people have shared their opinions about Gabbard.
